Ernie González

Ernie González (AEA, SAG-AFTRA) has an M.F.A. in acting from Kent State University, a B.F.A. in acting from Texas State University at San Marcos, and he also studied at The Juilliard School through their junior experience program.  He is an alumnus of the Conservatory and Improv for Actors programs at The Second City Chicago, as well as a former writer/performer with The Second City’s outreach and diversity ensemble BrownCo; Second City credits include, Eat, Pray, LIERahm Wasn’t Built in a DayDon’t Drop the Hope, and Ernie’s Good Hair Day.  In Chicago, Ernie played with: Funny Bones Improv, Taco Tuesday w/ Hitler, Old Dogs, Lunch Box Royalty, and A Guy, A Girl and A Gay: You Guess Who’s Who. Ernie has performed regionally at: La MaMa (off-Broadway), Creative Place Theater (off-Broadway), The Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Porthouse Theater, The Chicago Fringe Festival, The Ohio Shakespeare Festival, and Musical Theatre El Paso.  In Los Angeles, Ernie teaches at The Second City Hollywood and is the head of the hospital improv outreach program at Laughter For A Change.  Ernie has appeared on commercials and TV shows seen on: ABC, CBS, The Animal Planet, The Discovery Channel, Telemundo, Univision, and a @#$% load of webseries.
